Slingo Journey to Asgard is an action-packed Slingo adventure that follows Astrid the Valkyrie. In Norse mythology, Valkyries are powerful female characters that were tasked with choosing which of the fallen soldiers were worthy of a place in the afterlife. However, in Slingo Journey to Asgard Astrid’s mission is to reclaim the Bifrost Crystals and protect the land from evil. In case you’re wondering, Asgard is the home of the gods in Norse mythology.

Join Astrid on her quest by matching up numbers on the reels with those on the grid to complete Slingos and unlock bonus rounds, including Trials of Treasure and Realm of Runes.

How to Play Slingo Journey to Asgard at Slingo

Once you’ve decided on your stake and clicked the spin button, you’ll get ten initial spins. Like in other Slingo games, if a number on the reels matches one on the grid it will be marked off.

If any Wilds appear on the reels you’ll be able to choose a number from the column above it to mark off. Super Wilds let you pick a number from the entire grid.

Complete five or more Slingos to access one of seven bonus rounds.

Here’s a quick summary of each of the bonus games:

The Treasury (5 Slingos)

Pick a chest to reveal a prize, with a maximum multiplier of 50x your stake.

Trials of Treasure (6 Slingos)

Coins spin simultaneously on screen to reveal a prize or a blank. After all coin values are collected, one large coin spins to determine whether you will advance to the next round or collect your winnings and return to the Slingo grid.

Realm of Runes (7 Slingos)

The bonus starts with three picks, and you will pick Rune Stones to reveal prizes. As Rune Stones explode they can produce lightning, which explodes extra Rune Stones for a chance to increase your wins.

Golden Rune Realms (8 Slingos)

This bonus is similar to the previous one, except it starts with four picks.

Serpent’s Saga (9 Slingos)

Spin the wheel for a chance to advance along the trail and collect prizes. But beware of the swords - if you land on one the bonus is over. The maximum multiplier prize in this round is 500x your bet.

Valkyrie’s Victory (10 Slingos)

This bonus is similar to the previous one, except this time the maximum multiplier is 1,000x your bet.

Crystal Quest (12 Slingos)

Five crystals with multipliers will spin around the Valkyrie. Press Stop to win a prize, with a maximum win of 1,000x your bet.

Slingo Journey to Asgard Characters and Symbols

The Slingo Journey to Asgard game is set high in the mountains, which Astrid will need to cross in order to recover the Bifrost Crystals. Astrid herself is visible next to the grid, with sword in hand and her hair flowing in the breeze. 

Wilds allow you to mark off any number in the column above, and Super Wilds allow you to mark off any number on the entire grid.

There’s also a Free Spin symbol that can award an additional spin at the end of the current game, and a blocker symbol in the form of crossed swords. It can appear on the reels instead of a number, in an attempt to prevent you from completing Slingos.

On the pay ladder you’ll notice the names of the different bonus games for achieving a certain number of Slingos. For example, complete five Slingos to trigger the Treasury bonus, or reach 12 Slingos to play the Crystal Quest bonus game.

If you complete enough Slingos to unlock a bonus game, you’ll be given the option to play it at the end of your current game. Or you can choose to buy extra spins and keep playing for a chance to unlock bonuses that are higher up the ladder.
