Book of Independence Slot Machine

Book of Independence from Inspired Gaming comes with ten paylines on a 5x3 grid. It also has expanding wilds, scatters, and free spins rounds. A few symbols in the Book of Independence pay for two or more of a kind, so players can win big just by hearing the Liberty Bell ring. For each successful combination, the largest prize is paid out clockwise from left to right.

The Book of Independence has bright, bold primary colours, emphasising the patriotic hues of red, white, and blue, with gold thrown in there as well for good measure. The background is inspired by the U.S. flag, and symbols include a firecracker, star, hat, bald eagle, the Liberty Bell, Uncle Sam, and the letters U, S, and A. Although the graphics are well done, the patriotism is so over the top that it almost seems to be satirising it rather than honouring it. Regardless, it fits the theme, and the visuals are of good quality overall.

The Stars and Stripes weren’t enough, though! The patriotism also extends to the music in the background with Yankee Doodle.

By playing Book of Independence free, you learn how to trigger the special features. You also learn how the different features work, how many free spins you can expect to get from the bonus rounds. You also get to learn how the symbols payout, how the different symbol combinations pay and to identify the best paying symbols that you should target in your gameplay.

The bonus game is triggered by collecting three or more book scatter symbols. In return, you’ll get 10 free spins and an instant win!

If you’re a fan of book series games and think you can never be too patriotic, you’ll love Book of Independence. The graphics are good but may be overly zealous for some players. The music is decent, but it can start to feel a bit repetitive after a while. Once you understand how the expanding symbols payout, the free spins round is really exciting. Overall, Book of Independence is a lot of fun to play and worth your time giving it a try.
