It would appear that Gong Gaming's goal in creating the Empire Shields slot was to create a one-of-a-kind fantasy slot machine. They accomplished so by creating a slot machine with a fantasy theme centred around warriors.
The five reels and three rows layout is typical for this type of game. On each of the 243 paylines, winning combos are created when three or more matching symbols land adjacently from left to right.
Eleven themed icons make up the Empire Shields slot machine. In order to stay abreast of the symbol combinations, you can refer to the paytable. The payout rules state that in order to win, you need three or more matching icons in adjacent reels, running from left to right. You may see your current wager reflected in the prize for each symbol combination.
The lowest paying royals, paying 0.25x to 2x the stake, are the 9s through as shown first in our listing. Mids, meanwhile, have the 4x valued red ornament and the 4.5x valued purple ornament. The top group also has four character symbols representing a queen, a king, a demon, and an angel. In the listing sequence, you can get 5, 7, 10, and 15 times more for each if you manage to get five of each.
Above the main reels in Empire Shields you'll see reel modifiers. These modifiers, known as Toppers, move one spin to the left with every spin. Depending on a predetermined chance, one of four selectable features will be charged with an energy at random. Each Topper has a unique number of energies needed to activate its feature; they all start at zero as they appear. When activated, Toppers remain in play from the spin that triggers them until they disappear from view at the leftmost reel.
Charges with four different energies - double reel. Activating it doubles the height of the reels below, increasing the number of symbols to six, and it also increases the amount of paylines. There were a maximum of 7,776 ways when 5 Double Reel Toppers were triggered.
Charges with five energies—a multiplier. When this symbol appears on the reels below, it adds a random multiplier of 2, 3, 5, 8, or 10 times to any award. With each cycle, a new multiplier is activated. A larger multiplier is the result of adding more Multiplier Toppers.
