The Features, and What Each One Does

Feature symbols drop onto the grid and wait there until a bird comes along and sets them off. Here's what you're dealing with.

• Wilds cover any gem colour, so a bird can keep a run alive.
• Coins pay a value outright, no colour matching needed.
• Transform upgrades symbols across the grid to a higher-value type.
• Black Hole drags symbols in, shifting the birds somewhere more useful.
• Space Portals and tunnels teleport birds across the grid. This is how the awkward corners finally get reached.
• Spacecorn clears symbols in a pattern. Clear the whole grid and the coin game opens up.
• Space Bandit turns up to cause problems and sets off Alien Invasion.

The grid won't sit still either. It starts at 6x6 and can stretch to 8x8 mid-spin, adding rows and columns as it goes. Bigger board, more to collect. You'll take it.

Bonus and Super Bonus

Two bonus rounds, both running on the same CollectR engine you've just got your head around. The difference is that upgrades stick.

In the base game, everything resets when the spin ends. In the bonus, it doesn't. Whatever the birds build up carries through the whole round, so the grid you finish on looks nothing like the one you started with.
