Find the Perfect Online Bingo Game for You

We love nothing better than a game of online bingo, and at online casinos like Slingo.com there are lots of fun bingo games and rooms to choose from.

However, if you’re a bingo beginner you might be wondering how long online bingo games take to play.

Read on to find out more about the different types of bingo games available, as well as some info about how long games usually last for!

Identify the Type of Game You Want to Play

Before we begin, it’s important to note that there are lots of different types of bingo games - from 30 ball bingo to 90 ball and more.

The key thing to remember is that the more balls in a game, the longer it will take to finish the game. This is because there are more numbers to be called.

Conversely, the fewer the number of balls, the quicker the game will be.

Check out the sections below to find out more about the different types of bingo games and how long they take to play!

30 Ball Bingo

30 ball bingo is sometimes called Speed Bingo or Mini 30 Ball Bingo, and it’s an exciting new bingo game where games can be won in seconds!

This is the quickest version of online bingo, and it’s perfect if you haven’t got much time on your hands, or if you’re looking for a high-energy bingo game!

Games are played with just 30 balls, creating a fast-paced gaming experience with increased player involvement. 30 ball bingo is played on a 3x3 grid, and is usually won by marking off all the numbers in your card.

75 Ball Bingo

75 ball bingo has… you’ve guessed it… 75 balls! It’s the most popular version in the US, and is played on a 5x5 grid with a blank square in the centre.

Although there’s no set time limit for the game, it’s great if you’re looking for a quicker version of the traditional 90-ball game.

You’ll need to mark off a specific pattern to win, and rows can usually be completed vertically, horizontally or diagonally.

80 Ball Bingo

80 ball bingo is faster than the standard 90-ball game, but a little slower than 75 ball bingo, making it perfect for those looking for a happy medium between the two.

It’s played on a 4x4 grid filled with numbers from 1-80, and you can win by marking off a pattern shown on the card.

Common patterns include horizontal and vertical lines, single numbers and four corners.

90 Ball Bingo

90 ball bingo is the most popular form of online bingo in the UK. Online 90 ball bingo games typically last about 10 minutes, although games can be longer or shorter than this.

There are usually three prizes up for grabs in 90 ball bingo, and the game is played in three stages.

The first winner is the person who completes one horizontal line, the second winner is the one who completes two lines, and the third winner is rewarded for marking off every number on their card (a full house!).

Choose the Time When You Play Wisely

As well as the number of balls in play, the duration of an online bingo game is also affected by how many players are participating.

During peak hours (lunchtimes, evenings and weekends) there will be more people playing online bingo. The more players there are in a game, the quicker a winner is likely to be found!

If you’re playing off-peak, games will probably take longer to complete because of the reduced number of players.
