International Game Technology - or simply IGT for short  - is a veteran in not only UK slots, but the gambling industry as a whole. Its history, in fact, spans across continents, as it combines American and European companies into a single whole with a mission to bring some of the best slots around.

The company has experience in land-based gambling, making famous slot cabinets such as Cleopatra and Nevada Megabucks, and many of these games have received conversions to online form over the years. Ready to learn all about IGT and its slots? Then continue reading, of course!

The Best IGT Slot to Play at Slingo in 2025

At the time of writing IGT counts on over 350 slots in its portfolio. Among these you’ll find both online versions of games that were first available in cabinet form, as well as games made specifically for the online space. In any case, all of these games bring a classic slot experience with plenty of themes and features casino players enjoy. With this in mind we went through the IGT slots available at Slingo and found our favourites. Do let us know which of these you like best, and happy spinning as you do.

Cleopatra

Among the slots considered classics in the Egyptian-themed slots genre you’ll find IGT’s very own Cleopatra. This is actually one of the first online slots from IGT, having been launched back in 2005. It features simple yet classic gameplay, with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 selectable paylines. The titular Cleopatra acts as the wild and is able to substitute for all symbols except the scatter. This is the sphinx, which will award you with a round of 15 free spins if you land 3 or more anywhere on the reels.

Mistress Of Egypt Diamond Spins

Our second IGT slot based around Ancient Egypt, Mistress of Egypt Diamond Spins brings a world of magic and mystery on its 5 reels and 3 rows. The Diamond Spins of the title is a bonus round triggered by landing 5 or more diamond scatters anywhere on the reels. This is a hold and spin-style feature where you start with 3 respins. Land at least one more diamond and the number of respins resets back to 3. Diamonds can hold a cash prize or a jackpot, and will lock in place on the reels when landed.

Da Vinci Diamonds

Da Vinci Diamonds is a 5-reel, 3-row IGT slot based around the life and artwork of the ever-famous Renaissance artist. The result is a richly designed game with shining diamonds as the paying symbols. Land one of the 30 winning combinations on offer and this will trigger the Tumbling Reels feature as the symbols making it are removed from the reels. This leads to new symbols dropping in the empty spaces and, in turn, potentially more wins. Look out for the Mona Lisa symbol, as this is the most valuable on the reels!

Pharaoh's Fortune

Pharaoh’s Fortune is the third Egyptian slot in our list, and this time around IGT brings a quirkier take to the genre. After all, the title image features King Tut in shades! This is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with a total of 15 paylines formed using symbols that include the pharaoh, his queen, and the god Horus, among others. The pyramid wilds can substitute for all symbols except the scatters, which trigger the free spins if you land 3 or more anywhere on the reels.

Lucky Larry's Lobstermania 2

Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2 is, of course, the sequel to the original whacky fishing-themed slot. This is a game that’s all about the bonus features, as it has not one, not two, but three different wilds. All of these can substitute for all the other paying symbols, but only the jackpot wild will award you with a jackpot prize if you land 3 or more anywhere on the reels. Look out for the scatters, as landing 3 or more of these triggers the game’s free spins feature.

Cash Eruption

Highly volatile action in the classic fruit machine style awaits in Cash Eruption. This game actually combines styles, as the fruity symbols can be found on fiery volcanic reels located in a South American temple. This mix of genres helps further liven the gameplay, which involves a total of 20 paylines formed on 5 reels and 3 rows. Look out for the fire goddess, who is the wild. She can substitute for all paying symbols, and will fill the entire reel when landed! As for the volcano scatters, these will award you with free spins if you land 3 or more anywhere on the reels.

Ice Heist

Join a crew of thieves to steal the diamonds in IGT’s Ice Heist! This 5-reel, 3-row slot features medium volatility gameplay, with 30 paylines formed by landing 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels. Paylines always start from the leftmost reel, moving from left to right. Land the 3 scatters found on the 3 middle reels to trigger the free spins feature, which adds a diamond symbol on the fifth reel. Landing these adds to the meter which, when full, will turn one of the character symbols into a wild.

Snowy Secrets

Snowy Secrets is a slot that promises a festive time on its 5 reels and 3 rows! This is because this is actually the IGT Christmas slot, with Santa, the Christmas tree, and a stocking showing up among the symbols used to form its 30 paylines. The fireplace wild can be used to substitute for all the paying symbols, if with the exception of the bell scatters. These are found on the middle reels, and landing all 3 will award you with a round of free spins that add a gift symbol to the rightmost reel.

What are IGT Slots?

IGT is a company with a history that starts back in 1975, when International Game Technology was founded under the name A-1 Supply by William “Si” Redd. The company went through a couple of name changes, as it became Sircoma in 1978 and finally IGT in 1981. That same year the company went public, thanks to its success in the video poker field.

The continued growth of the company saw it acquire Electronic Data Technologies in 1984. This perhaps obscure company is a pioneer in Computerised Player Tracking (CPT), a system to provide frequent players with rewards that was folded into IGT’s offering. In more acquisitions IGT bought Barcrest, the British slot pioneer, in 1998.

All while this was going on Lottomatica, the Italian lottery operator, was busy making acquisitions of its own. These include the Gtech Corporation, a Rhode Island-based gaming technology company, which it bought in 2006. Following that the merged entity was renamed to Gtech. It then proceeded to acquire IGT, then the biggest slot machine maker in the world, in 2015 to create a new UK-based holding company under the name, well, IGT.

What’s the result of all these business dealings? Essentially a company with a long and storied history in slots. IGT games tend to be on the more classic side of things, with visuals that perhaps look dated compared to the latest and shiniest slots. But that doesn’t mean you should ignore them! On the contrary, IGT games come from developers who know what they’re making, resulting in compelling slot gameplay that truly stands the test of time.

IGT’s Top Paying Slots

Which of IGT’s slots pay the best? This is hard to say, since slots remain games of pure chance, meaning you can never tell when and how a game will pay out. That said the Return To Player (RTP) is a decent indicator of this case, so here’s how IGT games stack up as far as this figure goes:
