October Has An Exciting Live Tournament in Store
October may be the month of spooks and scares, but for us at Slingo it's just a new month for us to spoil and excite our players. We’re kicking off the month strong with PlayTech’s ‘The Money Drop Live’ tournament starting on the 4th of October and running through till the 10th. During this week-long event, have fun playing The Money Drop Live, collect points, and see if you can be one of our 50 lucky winners who’ll take home a share of the 5000EUR prize pot.

Even if you don’t watch a lot of TV you’ve probably heard of the Million Pound Drop/100k Drop presented by Davina McCall. Aired across the globe, this is an iconic high-stakes game show which PlayTech have brought to life in their live gameshow; The Money Drop Live. This means that you can experience the thrills and spills of this incredible game show from the comfort of your own home!
The Money Drop Live game show is played in two stages. The first stage has the live dealer spin the multiplier wheel to find out the value that is being played for; up to 5000x. Unless an 8x is landed (more on this later) play will proceed to the Drop Zones game, which plays out like the original game show. Players will have the choice of four Drop Zones and can place their money on up to 3 of them. One Drop Zone will always be safe and players must always leave one zone clear.
If an 8x multiplier is landed then things get a little more high-stakes as the Quick Drop round starts. In this mode players can only place their money on one drop zone, so it’s truly all or nothing and leads to some great jaw-dropping moments.
Promotion Mechanics
Getting set up to play The Money Drop Live is easy because as long as you’re a Slingo player, you just need to opt in. If not, simply register an account with us and make your first deposit and you’ll be able to opt in too. When you’ve opted in, just play The Money Drop Live from the 4th-10th of October and you’ll start collecting points each time you win.
Points are how the winners of The Money Drop Live tournament will be decided. Players earn points by winning rounds of The Money Drop Live; it's as easy as that. When you win at The Money Drop Live you’ll recieve points equal to how much you won vs. the amount you wagered. This means if you win your wager back you’ll recieve no points, but if you win 10x you’ll win 10 points, 50x and you’ll win 50 points, and so on.
The 5000EUR prize pot will be divided between 50 lucky winners with the 1st place prize being a generous 1500EUR! The rest of the prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: 1500 EUR
- 2nd Place: 750 EUR
- 3rd Place: 400 EUR
- 4th Place: 300 EUR
- 5th Place: 200 EUR
- 6th Place: 150 EUR
- 7th & 8th Place: 125 EUR
- 9th & 10th Place: 100 EUR
- 11th- 25th Place: 50 EUR
- 26th-50th Place: 20 EUR
All of our super Slingo winners will receive their prize money within 48hrs at the end of the tournament.
