There are many different variations of the classic casino game Blackjack, but American Blackjack Turbo is one of our favourites! The aim of the game remains the same: beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21. However, this version has been specifically designed for speed. Cards are dealt quickly, and there are no fancy animations to slow down gameplay.
This makes American Blackjack Turbo perfect for more experienced players who want to speed through as many hands as possible, taking advantage of the option to play five hands at once instead of the usual two.
However, the stripped-back design of the game also makes it great for newbies who are getting to grips with how to play blackjack.
American Blackjack Turbo is fully optimised for desktop and mobile use, so you can play whenever and wherever suits you. Ready to play at turbo speed? Play American Blackjack Turbo now!
Playing the American Blackjack Turbo game is easy. Before the game starts you’ll be asked to set your bet limit. This can also be adjusted in the SETTINGS page later on.
Decide on your bet by using the + and – buttons next to the DEAL button. When you’re ready to start playing, click DEAL.
You’ll be dealt two cards face up, while the Dealer will be dealt one card face up and one face down. Like in regular Blackjack, the aim is to get a total value of 21 before the dealer and without going bust (getting a value of over 21).
You can decide whether to Hit, Stand or Double. Here’s a quick explanation:
If your first two cards have the same value, you’ll also be given the option to Split. This places an extra wager that is identical to your initial bet and splits the hand in two. You’ll then use each card as the start of a new hand.
To make things a little more interesting, there are five betting spots on the layout and you can bet in as many of them as you like, allowing you to play up to five hands at once. Each hand is played independently against the dealer, so you may often win some hands while losing others.
American Blackjack Turbo has a clean, simple layout that replicates a traditional Blackjack table. A friendly female voiceover helps to create an authentic casino atmosphere, although this can be turned off if you prefer.
Before you start playing you’ll need to familiarise yourself with the scoring system you’ll come across in American Blackjack Turbo online.
Scoring in Blackjack is very simple, as the cards correspond to their numerical value from 2-10.
All face cards (Jack, King, Queen) are worth 10 and Aces are worth either 1 or 11, depending on what the holder desires.
The aim of the game is for your hand to add up to 21 before the dealer and without going ‘bust’ (over 21).
A “Blackjack” is immediately won if your first two cards add up to 21 (i.e. an Ace and a card with a value of 10). This is also called a “natural” and pays out 3:2.
Score a winning hand if you reach 21 before the dealer. The payout is 1:1 or “Evens”, meaning you’ll get your original wager back.
A “Push” or a “tie” is when both the player and the dealer reach 21 at the same time. In this case, your stake is returned and there is no winner.
