The Hula Baula slot game from ELK is playable with a bet ranging from 0.20 to 100 per spin. The game is played on a slot layout of 6 reels with 6 rows each. The game does not use traditional paylines, but instead uses a Scatter Pays system for symbol payouts. Winning combinations here are made up of 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols will be removed from the grid.

The symbols in the Hula Baula game are made up of fruit in different colours along with kiwis, sliced mangoes, a pink fruit, and a star fruit which is the most valuable regular symbol. There is also a Wild symbol which can stand in for all regular symbols.

The Sticky Redrops feature comes in when a paying symbol is chosen to be sticky for the feature. Matching symbols will also be held in place on the reels. If you land more of this chosen symbol or wilds, extra redrops will be awarded. These chosen symbols which are held in place may be upgraded to have sizes of up to 3x3 when they land on the reels.

Matching symbols that land in formations of square and rectangle shapes will merge into BIg Symbols. They may also receive multipliers which will be added to the global multiplier. Big Symbols may become even bigger symbols with upgrades, when matching big symbols are adjacent to each other. 

The Elmo Wild Drops feature is triggered by the game’s character. When it triggers, he will move to the left and leave Wilds on the reels with each redrop.

Three or more Bonus Symbols on the reels will trigger the Bonus Game with 6 to 12 free redrops for the feature. Super Bonus Symbols may come into play and form when two Bonus Symbols land next to each other. You can get extra redrops when you land Bonus Symbols during the feature.

The last feature of the game is the X-Iter feature which comes with Bonus Hunt, Big Symbols, Sticky Redrops, Buy Bonus, and Super Bonus features.
