On every spin of the Lucky Link slot the game selects entirely at random one of the nine symbols on the reels to be the Lucky Link slot. This symbol is then covered by the Lucky Link golden border for that spin. If you land a group of these symbols together across two or more reels then you will trigger a free re-spin of the reels that are not linked together.

On this re-spin, if you then add more of the Lucky Link symbols to the group you already have landed on the reels, you will trigger a further re-spin until you do not add any more links or until you have links across all five of the reels.

Obviously, the higher the value of the symbol that is the Lucky Link symbol on the spin, combined with the number of these symbols you manage to group together across a greater number of pay lines then the greater the value of your potential win.

It is worth remembering though that although you can re-trigger spins from landing a cluster of Lucky Link symbols on the middle three reels, you do need to land at least one of the Lucky Link symbols on either the first or fifth reels in order to trigger a pay-line win.
