Launch the game and set your bets before spinning the reels of the game. Bets in the Mystic Spells game range from 0.20 to 100 per spin. You can set your bets using the game’s Bet controls and settings. The game is played on a layout of 5 reels with 5 rows each. There are 15 ways to win in the game. 

Winning combinations in the game are made up of matching symbols across a winning line, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols here are represented by card royals for the low pays and themed symbols for the high-pays such as potion bottles in various colours and a horned item. The game also has some Wild symbols such as the regular Wild, sticky Wild, and a Black Spell symbol. All these special symbols can stand in for all regular symbols.

Black Spell Symbols may appear on the reels with a multiplier attached, which may be up to x100. Three of these may appear on the reels at the same time and may land on the reels during the base game or during the game’s free spins feature.

Black Spell Symbols spread to a 3x3 area around it when these land on the reels. When the areas intersect, the multipliers of these symbols are multiplied by each other and the Black Spell Feature is activated. If a winning combination is formed with the Wilds, the multiplier is applied to the amount won from the win.

Special Black Keys may land on the reels and trigger the game’s free spins bonus feature. You need three of these for the feature to be triggered. You get 10 free spins for the feature. This free spins bonus cannot be retriggered.

The other free spins bonus feature of the game is the Sticky Spell free spins which is activated by landing three Golden Key Symbols on the reels. The feature comes with 10 free spins and a multiplier is active during the feature. This multiplier increases by one level with each winning symbol. If any Wilds appear on the reels, these become sticky for the entirety of the feature. This free spins bonus may also not be retriggered.

There is also a Feature Spin which may trigger in the base game. This may be bought for 13x the stake, but the spins come with at least one Black Spell symbol on the reels.
