Per paid game round, Rome Supermatch accepts bets ranging from 0.20 to 100. Despite all of the available game grid space, Rome Supermatch is played more turn by turn than per spin. It is also extremely volatile, with a theoretical return to player value of 96% at best, and operators have access to three lesser return models, so take caution. Five symbols are shown on the first row in each gaming round. The next row of the grid is unlocked, exposing five more symbols, if three or more of those symbols match. If rows 2 through row 7 have at least one matching symbol, that row is unlocked, and so on. J-A royals and four expensive gold bust-like things are among the symbols used in Rome Supermatch. Regular three-of-a-kind payouts range from 0.5 to 2x the wager, while a 25+ win pays 150 to 1,000 times the wager at the top end.

Multiplier Wilds boost the multiplier by 1 and act as a stand-in for the complementary symbol. Rows 2 through 8 have wild symbols, and the multiplier is applied to the overall winnings.

Spreading wilds fill the full row with wilds and replace the matched symbol. Rows 2 through 8 are also covered by Spreading Wilds, which do not cover Multiplier Wilds.

The Second Chance Bonus is started when a matching symbol appears on the fourth row. One row that did not include a matching symbol will automatically be respin as part of the Second Chance Bonus. Players receive a second Mega Respin if the Second Chance Bonus activates at the same time as a Mega Respin.
