The game has six reels, but these extend in height between four and six spaces according to an elevator system that is positioned above each of the reels. Bet sizes can be as low as 0.25 or as high as 37.50, which is far from the biggest range I’ve seen in a Megaways slot.
The lower-paying symbols are the classic 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. If you connect 6 of a kind with one of these, it pays 2 x-2.6x the bet. The higher-paying symbols are different rats, and connecting 6 of a kind with one of these pays 3x-5x the bet. The Wild symbol substitutes for all other symbols except the Scatter and K-Cash symbols. The Scatter symbol is a door with light shining through it, and landing 3 or more of it will trigger the Free Spins. Lastly, we have the K-Cash symbols, which you collect to get cash prizes. Now, let’s take a look at the features.
Two features are relatively common for the genre, so you may instantly recognise them if you like to browse through our Megaways™ slots list: The Free Spins feature and the Bonus Buy feature (rebranded to HyperBonus here, but the principle remains the same).
A welcome change is the base game – we no longer have the Cascading Reels feature powering the action and leading to consecutive wins. Instead, there are blocker tiles on each reel, which players must unlock by landing K-Cash symbols.
Another pleasant addition is the default number of ways to win being set at 4,096. This gives players a nice head start and great odds compared to most other games, which begin at 64.
