Only five paylines are present on the reels of Smart Restart. To collect a win, you must observe matching fruit symbols across a line from the left, and cherries offer the lowest prizes. This symbol pays five times the line bet when it appears on reels one and two, while three, four, or five cherries in a payline pay ten, fifty, or two hundred times the line bet, respectively.

All other symbols must appear on the first three reels from the left in order to pay off. Oranges and limes pay up to 300 times the line bet, plums and strawberries pay up to 700 times, and a bunch of grapes pays up to 2,500 times the line bet.

The top prizes are won when a golden watermelon appears on a payline. This odd-looking fruit symbol pays 100x, 1,000x, or a massive 5,000x when it appears on reels three, four, or five. Here, there are no wild symbols, scatter symbols, win multipliers, or bonus symbols; only seven pieces of fruit are in play.

Following a spin, values could show above any reel. It could be a single or multiple reels, but most of the time it is none of them. When a value appears, you can click the corresponding reel to re-spin it and attempt to form a winning combination. The software calculates each value depending on the probability of a win and the possible reward from new combinations.

You have the option to disable the Smart Restart feature, transforming this slot machine into a normal five-reel, five-line game. However, that would defeat the purpose of the game.
