Las Vegas residencies have long been one of the biggest draws in live entertainment, with the Strip hosting music legends such as Elton John, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars and U2 over the years. But which shows have truly earned their place as the most iconic of all time?
New research from Slingo has revealed the definitive top 10 residencies in Vegas history, ranking artists by total gross, tickets sold, and adjusted earnings.
And it's Celine Dion who comes out on top, not once, but twice. Her groundbreaking A New Day…residency (2003–2007) takes the number one spot, grossing an incredible £285 million (equivalent to £432 million today) and selling 2.8 million tickets. Meanwhile, her follow-up show, Celine(2011–2019), lands in second place with £219 million in earnings (equivalent to £269 million today) and 1.7 million tickets sold.
Completing the top three is Elton John’s The Red Piano, which ran at Caesars Palace between 2004 and 2009, pulling in £122 million (equivalent to £183 million today) and nearly one million fans.
Elsewhere in the list, modern stars like Britney Spears and Bruno Mars sit alongside legacy acts including Garth Brooks, The Eagles, and U2.
