Most Popular Types of Bingo

Here are the most popular types of online bingo, both in the UK and overseas:

Mini 30 Ball or Speed Bingo

Mini 30 ball bingo or Speed Bingo is an exciting new bingo game where it often takes just minutes to find a winner! With only 30 balls, this bingo variation creates a fast-paced gaming experience with increased player involvement. 30 ball bingo is played on a 3x3 grid, and is usually won by marking off all the numbers in your card. This game is ideal if you haven’t got much time on your hands, or if you’re looking for a high-energy bingo game!

75-Ball Bingo

75 ball bingo has… you’ve guessed it… 75 balls! It’s the most popular version in the US, and is played on a 5x5 grid with a blank square in the centre. Players need to mark off a specific pattern to win, and rows can usually be completed vertically, horizontally or diagonally. This game is perfect for those looking for a quicker version of the traditional 90-ball game, or those who want to try something a little different!

80-Ball Bingo

80 ball bingo is faster than the standard 90-ball game, but a little slower than 75 ball bingo, making it perfect for those looking for a happy medium between the two. It’s played on a 4x4 grid filled with numbers from 1-80, and you can win by marking off a pattern shown on the card. Common patterns include horizontal and vertical lines, single numbers and four corners.

90-Ball Bingo

90 ball bingo is the most popular form of online bingo in the UK. The game is played on a rectangular card, with three lines and five numbers from 1-90 on each line. There are three prizes up for grabs, and the game is played in three stages. The first winner is the person who completes one horizontal line, the second winner is the one who completes two lines, and the third winner is rewarded for marking off every number on their card (a Full House!).

Other Bingo Game Variations

Slingo

Our hugely popular Slingo games are an exciting blend of slots and bingo. Just like in bingo games, the aim is to mark off numbers on a grid to complete rows (or Slingos) and win amazing cash prizes! Players spin the reels to reveal the numbers, and there are a huge variety of Slingo games to choose from!

Scratchcard Bingo

Scratchcard bingo is an innovative mash-up of online slots and bingo that gives you the chance to win instant cash prizes! Games take only seconds to complete, making them perfect for on-the-go gaming. Cards are either matched to rapid-fire called numbers or a pre-drawn set of numbers, creating a turbo-speed bingo experience!

Texas Blackout Bingo

Texas Blackout Bingo offers players a faster-paced version of 75 ball bingo. The rules of the game are slightly different to other bingo games, and gameplay hinges on the first number called. If it’s even, players can cover all the even numbers on their card – and vice versa if an odd number is called first. The game is then played as normal, until a ‘total blackout’ (otherwise known as a full house) is achieved.

Bingo Slot Machines

Bingo slot machines can sometimes be found in online casinos, and they offer players an exciting new way to enjoy bingo. However, like all bingo games this variation requires at least two players. As soon as you hit SPIN you’ll enter the game, although if you’re not playing in a busy online casino you may have to wait a little while for another player to join you!

Bingo Roulette

Bingo roulette is an innovative mash-up of two of the most popular casino games ever! Before the game starts chips are placed on the board (they can be assigned randomly, or you can choose your lucky numbers). If a number on your board is called the chip will be removed, and the aim of the game is to clear your board! Depending on the type of game, the jackpot is won by clearing the board in either 10 or 12 spins.
